For Hydrocarbon spill and leaks. These hydrocarbons include but are not limited to gasoline, Number 2 through Number 6 fuel oil. jet fuels, kerosene, lubricating oils, hydraulic oils, crude oil bunker oil and antifreeze.
This product can be used in traditional spray applications, 2 gallon pump sprayer, 2 ½ gallon pressurized Fire Extinguisher, 5 gallon Indian back pack sprayer, or by tank mixing.
The recommended application rate is approximately 1 to 1 by volume of the S200 as compared to the hydrocarbon being remediated. In other words you should use 1 lb of S200 for every 1 lbs of hydrocarbon you are remediating.
For applications on soil contaminated below 1 foot, the soil is turned and the material applied. This allows air to circulate and thereby maintain its aerobic condition.
On surface application, the amount to use is approximately 0.1 to 1 lb of S200 for every square yard of surface area. ( approximately a 9'x9' area ) for a one yard spill you would use from 1/10 of a gallon (6.5 oz ) of S200 upward depending on the depth of the spill. A 2 ½ gallon Pressurized Fire Extinguisher or a 2 ½ gallon Pump sprayer with straight S200 liquid, will cover 25 square yards or ( 15' x 15' ) with a hydrocarbon thickness of 5 mm deep or less than a 16th of an inch, like a thin coating.
